Brief Intervention Services

Brief intervention services are solution-focused and outcome-oriented cognitive and behavioral interventions, intended to resolve situational disturbances.

Once an assessment determines that you qualify for brief intervention counseling, you and your therapist will focus on clearly defined symptoms and develop specific goals. You can expect to have between 6 to 12 sessions within 3-6 months of time. Some of the techniques used will be mindfulness, self-calming and relaxation techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy, and enhancing relationships.

“A small change in a person’s behavior can make a profound and far-reaching differences in the behavior of all persons involved” - John Weakland.
