Individual Therapy

Individual treatment services are intended to improve or reduce symptoms and help facilitate resolution of situational disturbances for individuals in the areas of relationships, employment, and community integration.

After the assessment is complete and services are recommended, you will return for your first appointment where the therapist will discuss your results and recommendations for treatment.  You and the therapist will then develop specific goals and objectives to assist you in making changes in your life and improving problematic symptoms.  Your therapist will use and model techniques in mindfulness, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), positive psychology, relaxation/self-calming and other interventions as decided by you and your therapist.
